Call for Abstracts – “THE RISE OF ASIA 100 YEARS AFTER LAI: Is the Imperialism Dying and a New World Order Emerging?”

Riceviamo e volentieri diffondiamo la Call for Abstracts relativa alla conferenza internazionale "THE RISE OF ASIA 100 YEARS AFTER LAI: Is the Imperialism Dying and a New World Order Emerging?", che si terrà dal 17 al 19 febbraio 2027, presso le Università Paris 1-Sorbona e di Le Havre-Normandie.

Cento anni dopo la nascita della League against Imperialism and for National Independence (LAI), la conferenza intende interrogarsi sull'attuale transizione verso un ordine globale multipolare, trainato dal declino economico-politico dell'Occidente e dalla progressiva ascesa del sistema asiatico.

Segnaliamo, in particolare, che al Laboratorio BRICS dell’Istituto Eurispes - con cui il nostro Research Group ha il piacere di collaborare - sono affidate la Presidenza e la gestione delle Sessioni dedicate al BRICS.

La conferenza accoglie presentazioni individuali e di gruppo. Gli studiosi interessati a presentare i loro papers sono invitati a inviare un abstract entro una delle seguenti scadenze:

31 luglio 2026 – per la selezione ai fini di una possibile pubblicazione in un volume collettaneo che sarà presentato durante la conferenza;
31 ottobre 2026 – per la presentazione di un paper durante l’evento.

Call for Abstracts – “THE RISE OF ASIA 100 YEARS AFTER LAI: Is the Imperialism Dying and a New World Order Emerging?”

We are pleased to share the Call for Abstracts for the international conference “THE RISE OF ASIA 100 YEARS AFTER LAI: Is the Imperialism Dying and a New World Order Emerging?”, which will take place from 17 to 19 February 2027 at Paris 1–Sorbonne University and the University of Le Havre–Normandie.

One hundred years after the founding of the League against Imperialism and for National Independence (LAI), the conference aims to explore the current transition towards a multipolar global order, driven by the economic and political decline of the West and the progressive rise of the Asian system.

The BRICS Laboratory of the Eurispes Institute - with whom our Research Group is pleased to collaborate - has been entrusted with the Presidency and the coordination of the sessions dedicated to the BRICS.

The conference welcomes both individual and group presentations. Scholars interested in presenting their papers are invited to submit an abstract by one of the following deadlines:

31 July 2026 – for consideration for possible inclusion in an edited volume to be launched during the conference;
31 October 2026 – for the presentation of a paper during the event.
